Solid coffee machine The predecessor, who was 10 years old, brewed 12,000 coffee. Then it leaked.
This is exactly the same with a slightly different operation. The grinder is quieter than the previous one, but the pump is quite loud. In other words, the device is still quite loud during the brewing process. It’s a bit annoying, but the price-performance ratio is pretty good.
The Siemens machine lasts about 10 years in everyday use, which we also expect from our Melitta machine. You can choose the coffee strength depending on your needs and it tastes great. So far 5 stars and a clear purchase recommendation

A little over a year later, we have just begun talking about how I started my own online coffee shop. I have been a small business owner since 2001. I started doing this in my mid-teens when I was 15 and have had a good career. Now, almost 20 years later, I am a fully realized entrepreneur. This is the first time in over five years I have actually done an independent business venture. The business of creating and maintaining a coffee shop. In the long run, this was the best business I have ever done. For me, it is the best business because I have an amazing staff, and have a great customer service team.

In my cafe we are using Melitta Purista for over a 2 years. Noting to complain.

As a coffee lover, I was excited to try out the Melitta Purista coffee maker. However, after using it for a while, I have to say that I’m left pretty disappointed.

One of the biggest issues I have with the Melitta Purista is the lackluster design. The black manufacturer color feels a bit cheap and uninspired, and overall the look of the machine isn’t particularly appealing. Now, I know that looks aren’t everything when it comes to coffee makers, but it definitely left me feeling a bit underwhelmed.

Another problem I had with this coffee maker was the quality of the coffee it produced. While it’s not terrible, it’s certainly not up there with some of the other coffee makers I’ve used in the past. It doesn’t quite have the richness or depth of flavor that I would expect from a higher-end machine, which was a bit of a letdown.

Overall, I’d say that the Melitta Purista is a pretty average coffee maker. It’s not terrible, but it’s not great either. If you’re looking for something that’s going to give you consistently amazing coffee, you might be better off looking for something else.

"How do I properly clean my Melitta Purista coffee maker?"

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Melitta Purista coffee maker, it's essential to clean it regularly. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to properly clean your Melitta Purista coffee maker:

Materials needed:
- White vinegar
- Water
- Clean rag or towel
- Soft-bristled brush (optional)

Steps:

1. Empty the carafe: Before beginning, ensure that there is no coffee left in the carafe. If necessary, run some water through the machine to remove any remaining grounds. Mix equal parts of white vinegar and water: Pour an equal amount of white vinegar and water into the reservoir until it's about ¾ full. Run a cleaning cycle: Turn on your Melitta Purista coffee maker, select the "Brew" function, and let the machine run its cleaning cycle. Allow the vinegar solution to circulate through the entire system, including the carafe and filter basket. Rinse with water: After completing the cleaning cycle, fill the reservoir with clean water and run another brewing cycle to rinse out any remaining vinegar taste. Repeat this step until the vinegar smell disappears. Clean the filter basket: Remove the filter basket from the machine and clean it using a soft-bristled brush or sponge under warm, running water. Make sure to remove any leftover coffee grounds or residue. Wipe down the exterior: Use a clean rag or towel to wipe down the exterior of your Melitta Purista coffee maker, including the control panel and carafe. Dry the machine: After cleaning, dry all components thoroughly with a soft cloth or let them air dry before using the machine again. Note: It's recommended to clean your Melitta Purista coffee maker once every two weeks to maintain its quality and performance. Additionally, if you notice any mold or mildew growth inside the machine, clean it immediately by adding one tablespoon of baking soda to the reservoir during the cleaning process. This will help remove any stubborn stains or odors.

"How do I properly clean and descale my Melitta Purista coffee maker?"

To clean and descale your Melitta Purista coffee maker, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the coffee maker from power source. Remove the water reservoir tank and any loose parts (filter basket, brew basket). Disassemble the brew basket by unscrewing it from the base of the brew chamber. Rinse all removable parts in warm soapy water, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Fill the brew basket with hot water and vinegar (1:1 ratio). Let it sit for about 30 minutes to an hour, until the solution has completely dissolved any mineral deposits or buildup. Rinse the brew basket thoroughly with clean water until no trace of vinegar remains. Reassemble the coffee maker and place a fresh filter in the filter basket. Fill the water reservoir tank with fresh, cold water up to the MAX line. Do not use hot or warm water as it may damage the heating element. Plug in the coffee maker and select your desired brewing strength (regular or bold). Start a brew cycle without any coffee grounds to flush out any remaining vinegar solution from the brew basket and tubes. Once completed, run another brew cycle with fresh coffee grounds to clean the system thoroughly. Repeat steps 5-11 if necessary until the water runs clear.

"How do I properly clean my Melitta Purista coffee maker for the first time?"

Before using your new Melitta Purista coffee maker for the first time, you should run a few "empty cycles" to rinse out any leftover residue from the manufacturing process. Fill the reservoir with water and run the machine through a brew cycle, discarding the brewed water. Repeat this step 2-3 times until the water runs clear. Next, prepare a cleaning solution by mixing equal parts of white vinegar and water in the reservoir. The solution should be enough to fill up to the maximum water fill line. Make sure that the filter basket is securely locked into place before starting the machine. Turn on your Melitta Purista coffee maker and let it run through a brew cycle with the cleaning solution. During this process, you may hear some gurgling or spluttering noises as the vinegar solution flows through the machine's internal components. This is normal and indicates that the cleaner is removing any built-up residue. After the cleaning cycle is complete, discard the brewed water and rinse out the carafe and filter basket with cold water. Make sure to remove any leftover vinegar solution from the machine's internal components using a soft-bristled brush or sponge. Run another empty cycle with fresh water to thoroughly rinse out any remaining vinegar solution. This will ensure that your Melitta Purista coffee maker is free of any odor or taste associated with vinegar. Clean the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth and mild soap, being careful not to get any moisture inside the machine's electrical components. Dry thoroughly before storing or using again. By following these steps, you can ensure that your Melitta Purista coffee maker is clean and ready for use. Regular cleaning and maintenance will help prolong the life of your machine and ensure that it continues to produce delicious coffee for years to come.
