1 review for Grunwerg Café Ole Everyday 6 Cup

  1. Jina Fuiggi

It is made in China and seems to be of really low quality. I expected better quality than Grunwerg.
Loose particles rattle inside the double wall of steel. There are POLLUTANTS on the mesh filter that cannot be removed. I just noticed there is water in the lid. Nothing good.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: How should I properly clean and maintain my Gruenwerg Cafe Olé Everyday 6 Cup Percolator?

A: To ensure your Gruenwerg Cafe Olé Everyday 6 Cup Percolator remains in optimal condition, follow these steps for proper cleaning and maintenance:

1. Allow the percolator to cool completely after brewing your coffee. This will prevent any accidents or burns while handling hot materials.

2. Remove the percolator basket, lid, and stem from the base. These components can be disassembled further for thorough cleaning.

3. The percolator basket holds the coffee grounds during brewing. Dispose of the used grounds and rinse the basket thoroughly under running water to remove any residue. If necessary, use a small brush or sponge to scrub stubborn particles away.

4. The lid and stem also collect residue from the brewing process. Rinse them both with warm water to clean off any coffee grounds or debris. A soft cloth can be used for additional cleaning if required.

5. Wash the base of the percolator using warm soapy water, ensuring all coffee oils and residue are removed. Rinse well to avoid any soap taste in future brews.

6. Dry each component carefully before reassembling the percolator. This will prevent rust or corrosion due to moisture build-up.

7. After reassembly, it is essential to season your Gruenwerg Cafe Olé Everyday 6 Cup Percolator before using it again. Fill the percolator with water and add a small amount of white vinegar, ensuring that the solution fills at least half of the chamber. Place the percolator on the stove over low heat for about 15 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely. Rinse thoroughly under running water until all traces of vinegar are removed. Your percolator is now ready for use!

8. To extend your percolator's lifespan, store it in a clean, dry place when not in use. This will prevent any potential damage caused by exposure to moisture or debris.

Remember to follow these cleaning and maintenance steps regularly to ensure your Gruenwerg Cafe Olé Everyday 6 Cup Percolator remains a reliable source of delicious coffee for years to come!
