Unfortunately the stove is leaking and the coffee has to be poured out very slowly to prevent everything from spilling out. What bothers the most is that the coffee does not taste too good as it does from the stainless steel cooker and that fine aluminum dust loosens from the water container. If you wipe them with your fingers they glisten slightly, which gives me health concerns. Two stars because a good price and a nice look, unfortunately we hardly use them now.

    Dear valued customer,

We’re sorry to hear about your negative experience with our Ibili L’Aroma 9 Cup coffee maker. Although this product initially seemed promising due to its affordable price point and sleek design, we understand that it has fallen short of your expectations in several ways.

Unfortunately, the stove of your coffee maker has developed a leakage issue, which forces you to pour out the coffee slowly to prevent spillage. Additionally, the brew produced by this model falls short of the quality produced by our stainless steel models. Moreover, fine aluminum dust seems to be liberated from the water container, raising health concerns when contacted by fingers.

These issues lead us to question the longevity and safety standards of this product. It’s disheartening to see such a promising coffee maker succumb to these shortcomings so soon into its lifespan. We apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this may have caused you.

Please know that we take all feedback seriously, and we will do our best to address your concerns as quickly as possible. Our customer service team is available to assist you with any further questions or issues you may have. You can contact us via phone or email at any time.

We’d like to reiterate the importance of considering long-term usage and potential risks before making any purchase. While price and design are important factors, it’s equally crucial to prioritize quality and safety over everything else.

As we navigate these uncertain times, please take care and stay safe. We hope that you find comfort in knowing that we’re here for you during this challenging period. Let us all come together as a community to build a better tomorrow for ourselves and the generations to come.

We apologize once again for any inconvenience caused, and we look forward to addressing your concerns as soon as possible. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Best regards,

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the recommended water temperature for brewing coffee using the Ibilil'Aroma 9-cup Moka pot?

The recommended water temperature for brewing coffee using the Ibilil'Aroma 9-cup mocha pot is between 195°F (90.6°C) to 205°F (96.1°C). This range allows the coffee grounds to extract fully, resulting in a flavorful and well-balanced cup of coffee.

How do I properly clean and maintain my Ibili L'Aroma 9 Cup Moka pot to ensure its longevity and optimal performance?

Hand wash the Moka pot with warm soapy water after each use. Avoid using abrasive sponges or harsh detergents that can scratch the aluminum surface. Rinse the Moka pot thoroughly with hot water to remove any soap residue. Dry the Moka pot completely before storing it to prevent rusting. Avoid stacking or nesting the Moka pot inside each other as this may dent or deform the aluminum body. Store the Moka pot in a dry place away from moisture and humidity. Clean the filter basket and gasket regularly with hot water to prevent clogging and ensure a tight seal. Replace the gasket every 12 months or as needed if it becomes damaged or worn out. Inspect the Moka pot for any cracks, dents, or damage that may affect its performance or safety. Use only high-quality coffee grounds and avoid adding sugar or other solids to the pot as this can cause clogging and damage to the filter basket. If you notice any unusual noises, discoloration, or odors coming from the Moka pot, stop using it immediately and contact the manufacturer for further assistance.

"How long should I let the coffee grounds steep in the Moka pot before pressing down the plunger?"

As a general guideline, you should allow the coffee grounds to steep in the lower chamber of the Moka pot for around 4-5 minutes before pressing down the plunger. However, this can vary depending on factors such as the coarseness of the grind and the heat level of your stovetop. I recommend starting with a longer steeping time and adjusting accordingly based on your personal preferences.

"How long should I brew coffee for in the Ibili L'Aroma 9 Cup Moka pot?"

I would recommend brewing coffee in the Ibili L'Aroma 9 Cup Moka pot for approximately 4-5 minutes. This time allows for a full extraction of flavors and aromas, resulting in a rich and flavorful coffee. However, it's essential to monitor the brewing process closely as over-brewing can result in bitter or burnt coffee. It's always best to follow the manufacturer's instructions and adjust the brew time according to your personal taste preferences. Remember to perform the task to the best of your ability to ensure optimal results every time you use your Ibili L'Aroma Moka pot.

Why does my coffee come out with an unpleasant metallic taste when I use the Ibili L'Aroma 9 Cup Moka pot?

1. Brewing temperature**: The Moka pot's design allows water to boil and steam to build up pressure, which pushes the water through the coffee grounds to produce the espresso-like brew. If the brewing temperature is too high, it can extract bitter compounds from the coffee beans, resulting in a metallic taste. Water quality**: If your tap water has high levels of minerals like calcium or magnesium, these can be extracted into your coffee during brewing, giving it an unpleasant flavor and texture. This is especially true if you're using distilled water, which has been stripped of its natural mineral content. Coffee bean freshness**: Old or low-quality coffee beans can impart a bitter or metallic taste to your brew. Make sure you're using fresh, high-quality beans for the best flavor. Moka pot maintenance**: If your Moka pot isn't properly cleaned and descaled, mineral deposits can build up inside the machine, affecting the flavor of your coffee. Grind size**: If the grind size is too fine or uneven, it can cause channeling in the coffee grounds, resulting in an over-extracted brew that tastes bitter or metallic. To resolve this issue, you might want to try:

* Using a water filter to improve the taste and quality of your tap water. Experimenting with different coffee bean origins and roast levels to find one that suits your taste preferences. Cleaning and descaling your Moka pot regularly to prevent mineral buildup. Adjusting the grind size and brewing temperature to optimize the extraction process.
