As someone who takes their coffee seriously, I was excited to try out the Zassenhaus Brasilia Black coffee grinder. Unfortunately, my experience with this product was less than stellar. While the design is eye-catching and the grinder is sturdy, the actual grinding performance was lacking.
Compared to other coffee grinders I’ve used, the Brasilia Black did not consistently produce a fine enough grind for my taste. I found myself having to run the beans through multiple times to get the desired result, which was frustrating and time-consuming. Additionally, I noticed that the grinder seemed to generate a lot of static electricity, resulting in coffee grounds sticking to the surface and getting on my hands more than usual.
While I appreciate the effort that Zassenhaus put into creating a visually striking product, I can’t recommend the Brasilia Black based on its functionality alone. There are other coffee grinders on the market that provide a more consistent and efficient grind, without the hassle of having to repeatedly run the beans through. Overall, I’d give the Zassenhaus Brasilia Black a two-star rating out of five.
