I recently purchased the Timemore Chestnut C2 coffee grinder and have to say that I am disappointed with it. While it works, the performance is lackluster compared to other popular coffee grinders on the market.
First of all, at 0.45 kg weight, it is a bit heavier than other models I have used. This makes it less convenient to take on the go or move around my kitchen as needed. Additionally, while Timemore is a well-known brand in the coffee industry, I was let down by their offering with this grinder.
In comparison to my previous coffee grinder, the Baratza Encore, the Timemore Chestnut C2 falls short in many areas. The grind consistency is not as good as the Encore, and it takes longer to grind a similar amount of coffee. Additionally, the design of the Timemore Chestnut C2 is not as sleek or stylish as the Encore.
The story behind my purchase of the Timemore Chestnut C2 is that I wanted to try a different brand and see if it could be a better fit for my coffee grinding needs. While I appreciate the effort that Timemore put into creating this grinder, I cannot recommend it over other options on the market.
