As someone who loves making coffee at home, I was excited to try out the Bodum Chambord Set 8 Cup. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my experience and can only give it 2 stars out of 5.
One of the biggest issues with this coffee press is that it has no integrated system for filtering. This means that when you pour your coffee, you’ll get lots of grounds in your cup, which is not a pleasant experience. I found that I had to be really careful and pour slowly, which takes away from the convenience I expect from a coffee press.
Another issue is that the handle became quite hot when I was making coffee, which was unpleasant to touch. It doesn’t seem like the handle was designed to stay cool while in use, which is unfortunate.
Comparing this coffee press to others I’ve tried, including the popular French Press from Coffee Gator, I would have to say that the Bodum Chambord Set 8 Cup falls short.
