IMPORTANT: take into account that one cup is equivalent to 40 ml of coffee. If you want to brew 200ml coffee with milk (of which 120ml is coffee and the remaining 80ml is milk), you will have to get a coffee with three cups! Hope you found my review helpful and useful.
Incidentally it’s a bit pricey but we pay for the Italian brand and quality control. Hope it never breaks, it’s going well so far!

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the recommended water temperature for brewing with the Bialetti Fiammetta Espresso 3 Cup?

The recommended water temperature for brewing espresso using the Bialetti Fiammetta Espresso 3 Cup Stovetop Espresso Maker is between 195°F (90°C) and 205°F (96°C). This temperature range will allow you to extract a rich, robust flavor from your espresso beans while avoiding any over-extraction that can result in bitterness. It's important to note that stovetop espresso makers like the Bialetti Fiammetta may require some adjustments and practice to achieve optimal results.

What is the recommended water-to-grounds ratio when brewing with the Bialetti Fiammetta Espresso 3 Cup?

The Bialetti Fiammetta Espresso 3 Cup Maker has a capacity of making three one-ounce espresso shots. To achieve the perfect espresso shot, it is recommended to use 7 grams (approximately 1 tablespoon) of finely ground coffee per serving. In this case, you would need approximately 21 grams (3 tablespoons) of finely ground coffee for three servings or shots. To brew the espresso, fill the lower chamber with cold water up to the number of cups you want to make indicated on the side of the maker (up to 3 cups in this case). The water-to-grounds ratio would then be about 1 part water to 7 parts coffee grounds. However, it is important to note that the actual amount of water may vary slightly depending on your personal taste preference and the type of coffee beans you are using.

How do I properly clean and maintain my Bialetti Fiammetta Espresso 3 Cup Moka Pot for best results?

Sure, here are the steps to clean and maintain your Bialetti Fiammetta Espresso 3 Cup Moka Pot:
1. Let the pot cool down completely after brewing before washing it. This is important because boiling water can cause the aluminum to react and change the taste of your coffee. Disassemble the pot by removing the top chamber, filter basket, and funnel. Rinse each part with warm water. If there's any remaining coffee grounds, use a small brush or cloth to gently scrub them away. Fill the bottom chamber (the one that stays on the stovetop) with warm water up to the safety valve line. Put the funnel back in place and fill it with fresh coffee grounds. Make sure not to overfill; just tamp down the grounds gently so they're level with the top of the filter basket. Attach the top chamber onto the bottom chamber and put the whole thing on low heat. Once the brewing process is complete, turn off the heat and let the pot cool down. After that, repeat steps 1-6 for a fresh cup of espresso. To maintain your Moka Pot:
1. After each use, store the pot in a dry place to prevent rust or corrosion. Use only soft water when brewing coffee. Hard water can cause mineral buildup inside the pot which will affect the taste and quality of your espresso. If you notice any build-up on the surfaces of the pot, clean it with warm soapy water and then rinse thoroughly. You can also use vinegar to remove stubborn stains or buildup.

How do I properly clean and maintain my Bialetti Fiammetta Espresso 3 Cup Moka pot to ensure optimal performance?

To ensure optimal performance of your Bialetti Fiammetta Espresso 3 Cup Moka pot, it's essential to clean and maintain it regularly. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do it:

1. After brewing, disassemble the Moka pot. This means removing the top chamber with the filters from the bottom boiler part. Rinse all the components under hot water. Don't use soap as this can leave a residue that affects the taste of your coffee. Use a soft brush or sponge to clean any remaining coffee grounds stuck inside the funnel, filter basket, and the upper chamber. If you have stubborn stains, create a paste using baking soda and water and rub it gently onto the parts with the brush. For a deeper clean, fill the bottom boiler part with hot water and two tablespoons of white vinegar. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes, then rinse with hot water again. The vinegar will remove any mineral buildup that can affect your coffee's flavor. Dry all the parts thoroughly before reassembling the Moka pot. If there is any moisture left inside, it can lead to rust or mold growth. Store your Moka pot in a dry place, ideally in its original packaging to protect it from dust and dirt. To prevent damage or breakage, avoid overtightening the parts when reassembling the Moka pot. Handwash only; do not put the components into a dishwasher as this can cause warping or melting due to high temperatures. Use freshly roasted coffee beans for best results. The flavor of your coffee will also depend on the water quality you use, so it's recommended to use filtered water. Finally, before using your Moka pot again, check that all the components are securely in place and there aren't any cracks or leaks. If you notice anything suspicious, stop using the pot and contact Bialetti's customer service for assistance. By following these steps regularly, you can ensure your Bialetti Fiammetta Espresso 3 Cup Moka pot stays in great condition and produces delicious coffee every time.
