  1. Camilla

Great grinder, very good workmanship. The automatic grinding switch is a great solution, all you have to do is put the coffee machine’s flask or container by pressing the switch and the ground coffee spills.
For now, I use it too short, but the first impressions are very positive.
Small dimensions, decent volume (after all, it’s a grinder 🙂
The additional option of fine-tuning the grinding thickness on grinders extends its capabilities and functionality. Fine grinding into a coffee machine or coffee maker, already at the ninth grinding stage.
    Easy disassembly for cleaning.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I properly clean and maintain my Graef CM800 coffee grinder to ensure optimal performance and longevity?

Cleaning and maintaining your Graef CM800 coffee grinder is essential for ensuring optimal performance and longevity. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to clean and maintain your grinder:

1. Unplug the grinder: Before you start cleaning, always ensure that the grinder is unplugged from the power source. This will prevent any accidents or injuries while cleaning. Disassemble the parts: Take apart all the detachable parts like burrs, hopper, and base of the machine. This will help you to clean each part thoroughly and also make it easier to reach areas that may be difficult to access. Clean the burrs: Burrs are the grinding elements inside the grinder. These should be cleaned frequently to remove any coffee oils or debris that might have accumulated during use. You can use a soft-bristled brush or a toothbrush to clean these burrs. Avoid using steel wool, abrasive sponges or harsh chemicals as they could damage the burrs. Clean the hopper: The hopper is the container where the coffee beans are fed into the grinder. This area should be cleaned regularly to remove any leftover coffee grounds, chaff, and dust. You can use a soft-bristled brush or a vacuum cleaner with a soft attachment to remove any debris inside the hopper. Clean the base: The base of the grinder contains the motor, gears, and other electrical components. This area should be cleaned gently using a dry cloth to avoid damaging any sensitive electrical parts. You can also use an air compressor or a vacuum cleaner with a soft attachment to remove any coffee dust or debris that may have accumulated inside the base. Clean the exterior: The exterior of the grinder should also be cleaned regularly using a damp cloth and mild soap. Make sure you avoid getting water into any electrical parts or areas where moisture could damage the machine. Store the grinder: After cleaning, make sure to store the grinder in a dry place away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and humidity. This will help prevent rusting of the burrs and other metal parts inside the grinder. Lubricate moving parts: Over time, moving parts like gears and bearings may become stiff due to friction. You can lubricate these parts with a food-grade oil or silicone spray to help reduce friction and ensure smooth operation of the machine. By following these simple steps regularly, you'll be able to keep your Graef CM800 coffee grinder running smoothly for years to come.
